Gallup: Who We trust

Often considered the go-to source for independent, reliable data and analysis, Gallup has long-combined analytics and advice to help leaders and organizations identify opportunities and create meaningful change. Gallup has an 80-year history of building, preparing and analyzing data sets of all kinds. This Gallup report, The State of Public Trust in Local News, was no different. It was developed for the Knight Foundation in order to better understand the current and precarious state of trust for local news.

Our Partnership
Gallup came to us to help with the event launching the report. Being Gallup, the research was meticulous and the data was illuminating, but there was a lot of information and it needed to be distilled. Working closely with the Gallup team, Base Three helped focus the presentation material and strategized about how to best organize and visualize the newsworthy data points to be shared at the event.

We used a bold color scheme that is in line with the Knight Foundation branding and produced infographics that were effective across multiple platforms including a presentation, event brochure, handouts, and animated infographics that caused a ripple when shared across their social media platforms.
